Southwestern Silver Cuff Bracelet With Chrysocolla And Old Navajo Stamp Work
This very traditional Southwestern sterling silver cuff bracelet is bezel set with a Chrysocolla cabochon that is surrounded at the base of the bezel with raindrops.
The two half round wires that form the cuff are decorated with old Navajo style stamp work.
Signed on the back of the top plate with an off set conjoined makers mark of CR.
There is no sterling silver mark which is not uncommon for older pieces but this bracelet has been tested and guaranteed to be coin silver or higher.
The top plate with the stone is 1 3/8 inches.
The diameter is 2 5/16 by 1 5/8 inches plus a 1 5/8 inch opening for a circumference of 6 3/4 inches.
Please note in the photos the brown spot off to the side on the gemstone. This appears to be some type of filler that the gem cutter used before creating the cab. It looks like natural matrix to the unaided eye.
There is a nice old dark patina on all surfaces.
