Vintage Engagement Ring Box Tan Leather Cream Velvet and Satin Liner
This antique ring box from the late 1800's to early part of the 1900's was created with a tan color leather, a cream color velvet and satin lining most likely over a wooden core with a steel snap closure.
The inside lid is embossed with the jewelers name of Bowler & Burdick - Cleveland, O.
Bowler and Burdick were a well known jewelry and clock company that were in operation from approximately 1875 to 1925.
The hinge and the snap are tight. This was a box that was used for a ring and does show were a ring was stored in it and the leather has some minor scuffs but overall this box is in great shape for its age.
Leather covered jewelry boxes from the 1800's to early 1900's are very collectible and become even more collectible when a well known jewelers name is embossed on it.
Perfect for presenting an Antique Engagement ring.
