Victorian Jewelry Coral Stickpin Antique Jewelry Brooch
This Antique Victorian coral stickpin features a piece of Mediterranean branch coral wrapped with wire and surrounded by a curled wire forming an oval shape top behind the branch coral.
The rolled gold pin measures approximately 2 7/16 inches long with the top measuring 1/2 inch x 5/16 inch.
Stickpins like this set with branch coral were very popular from the 1890's up until the early 20th century and today are once again very popular. It is not uncommon for a lady to wear a small grouping of stickpins like this on a jacket lapel. For the man that still wears a tie and likes the vintage look this would make a great piece as well.
