Vintage Native American Navajo14K Lapis Dangle Earrings Andy Lee Kirk
This stunning pair of handmade vintage Native American earrings were created in 14k yellow gold and bezel set with lapis lazuli by Navajo and Isleta artist Andy Lee Kirk.
Approximately 1 1/8 inches long from the top of the Kachina masks to the bottom of the earrings with the lapis approximately 11/16 x 9/16 inch.
Andy Lee Kirk worked from about 1970 until 2001 when he passed away at the age of 54 and received numerous awards in his lifetime including IACA artist of the year in 1996, The Santa Fe Indian Market and the Inter-Tribal Ceremonial at Gallup, NM.
Work by this master goldsmith and silversmith who also did lapidary work is getting harder to find as time goes on and this pair of earrings by him not only would look great on they are perfect for a serious collector.
Electric pen signed on the back of one earring Kirk 14kt.
The large 14k clutches are nice and heavy and easy to handle.
