Vintage Sterling Guilloche Enamel Locket Pendant Theodor Fahrner
This wonderful Theodor Fahrner 935 sterling silver locket with gold overlay often referred to as gold vermeil features a central round plaque decorated with purple guilloche' enamel.
Jewelry collectors around the world are familiar with the famous German jewelry firm of Theodor Fahrner active from the third quarter of the 19th century to the third quarter of the 20th century and actively seek out pieces to add to their collection.
There is a small area along the edge of the enameled plaque between approximately 3:00 and 4:00 with a very small chip that is only on the surface and does not extend to the metal below and does not detract from the piece. I tried to show this in the second photo.
As can be seen in the photos the back has minor scratches from use and the gold vermeil is showing a little wear.
Approximately 1 9/16 inch long with the jump ring x 1 3/16 inch wide.
Signed with the famous TF connected within a circle - 935 - sterling.
