Vintage 1920s Rolled Gold Engraved Stickpin
This vintage stickpin from the early 20th century with an oval shape top that was created in rolled gold is engraved with scroll design work and an oval cartouche that would have been used to engrave initials but this one was never engraved.
The back of the top is gold plated and the stickpin appears to be nickel silver and is stamped with a makers mark that is not completely legible. It appears to be signed HAA and either a symbol or another partial letter.
There is some minor verdigris along the upper right within the engraved design and a little on the reverse along the inside edge but these are minor areas.
The total length is 2 3/4 inches and the oval top is approximately 9/16 x 7/16 inch.
Stickpins make a great accessory and when worn in groups of 3 or more make a style statement which can be constantly changed by replacing one or more of the pieces from time to time.
