Vintage Turquoise Bracelet Native American Zuni Petit Point
This stunning and well made vintage Native American turquoise petitpoint bracelet is bezel set with one round and 46 pear shape turquoise cabochons.
Surrounding the central flower design is twisted and round wire decoration with small round breads spaced between each bezel around the outside edge.
The cuff bracelet was created with three sterling silver half round wires to support the upper silver work and gemstones.
The circumference is for a 7 inch wrist but should fit up to a 7 1/2 inch wrist.
The diameter of the bracelet is 2 3/8 x 1 3/4 inches with a 1 1/2 inch opening.
The top panel is 2 1/8 inches wide.
Signed DC Sterling under the top panel next to the center half round wire forming the cuff.
This design was made popular by Zuni silversmiths but is also used by the Navajo and since I have not found a record of the signature I am not sure if it is Zuni or Navajo.
